Vickrey and QJP Launch and Charity Auction review.
As part of this internationally important event our MD, Elliot Symonds, also conducted a Charity Auction of Board Games.
Above we see the Vickrey Master at work, and below we see him conducting an audible bid rotation technique live on stage.
Proceeds from the event were donated to the Norfolk and Norwich Association for the Blind, our chosen charity. HOWEVER, due to fantastic support from Barclays, all money raised from the the charity was match funded.
A total of £2200 was therefore given to a great local charity through the brilliance of board gaming.
Below we some some pictures from the night which were taken by the brilliant Dale Buck. To be fair he took the pictures which you can see above as well.

Vickrey brings old and young together, family and friends.
Vickrey can be played by players of all ages. Young Seb and Will excelled in their auction skills.
We had a fantastic evening. It was a Thursday in December and late night Christmas shopping probably had an impact on numbers, but overall we had a great night. The buffet was fully eaten, about fifty people came and £2200 was raised for charity. Auction techniques that are rarely seen were revelled in and there was the launch of the Quirkative Reverse Auction as well.
